About Us
Hi! We’re Rita and Nate, parents to 2 little ones and the creators of Bookestry.
Bookestry began with a simple idea: telling stories that matter most - the ones from our own families. When our daughter was two years old, Nate took a sabbatical from work. Every day, the two of them would curl up together with a stack of children’s books. Reading was their shared joy and it sparked an idea. Nate wanted to create books just for Noelle, ones that told the stories of her own family history.
With the help of AI, we began creating books about some of our favorite family stories: how her grandparents met, how her aunt became a champion runner, and a few of Noelle’s own early experiences. Noelle loved the new books. She still recalls even the smallest of details. Even more than that, she started requesting books about imaginary stories of her own.
Seeing Noelle’s excitement made us realize other children would probably love to see themselves and their loved ones in the books they read, too. So we started Bookestry, a place where families can easily create ultra-personalized children’s books with the help of AI. Whether it’s preserving family history, celebrating milestones, or exploring a child’s wildest dreams, Bookestry makes it possible to craft stories that belong uniquely to you.
